Mt. Magazine State Park
The highest point in Arkansas (2,753 feet above sea level) makes a cool place to be during hot summer days. Home to one of Arkansas newest state parks and magnificent Lodge and Visitors Center the park welcomes over 300,000 visitors per year for leisure and outdoor recreation. Home to the Arkansas State Butterfly, the Diana Fritillary, the park holds an annual Butterfly Festival each June in her honor.
