The campground includes a barrier-free bathhouse with hot showers and flush toilets. The park provides an RV dump station. Mount Magazine Horse Camp This camping space for tents and horse trailers is within the state park. It is currently undeveloped but in the future will offer up to 21 modern campsites for campers with horses. Located at the entrance to the Huckleberry Mountain Horse Trail managed by the USDA Forest Service, this site provides a great starting point to explore the 34-mile trail system. |
Cove Lake - USDA Forest Service 19 Cove Lake Drive & Hwy 309 South 479-963-3076 (Seasonal 479-963-6421) Facilities: 28 RV/Tent sites with no hookups. Vault toilets, localized water (in season), hot showers (in season), swimming beach, group shelter, boat ramp, fishing, and hiking trail. Location: Ten miles north of Mount Magazine State Park on Scenic Byway 309. Backpack Wilderness camping is also allowed along Cove Lake Trail in the Ozark National Forest. |
